The effects of trauma can vary depending on whether the experience was first hand or as in a many cases witnesses of a trauma. The reaction to trauma can be triggered by people, places or things generally associated with that trauma.

Diagnosis


Most people who have had experianced traume will be first treated by their doctor, but any many cases better progress is made by a referral to a trained psychotherapist who specialises in mental health issues

My name is Sue Lane Ad.Dip.CP. I am based at various locations in The South: The Wimborne Clinic, situated in Wimborne, Dorset and The Natural Body Cafe, Poole and now at PAATC (Poole Antiageing Therapy Centre, Lower Parkstone. Choosing a therapist can be a daunting experience so I offer a safe space, in a non-judgemental environment for people who require counselling and psychotherapy.
